Corimmun GmbH
Corimmun GmbH is a private biotechnology company located in Martinsried near Munich, Germany, and is focused on the development of novel therapeutics for the treatment of congestive heart failure and atherosclerosis. We apply several technologies in the development of innovative drugs. Corimmun's activities and experiences comprise all steps from research to drug development and commercialization.
Two innovative products COR-1 and COR-2 are currently in preclinical development.
COR-1 is a peptide drug candidate to prevent the auto-antibody-mediated propagation of heart failure. Functional auto-antibodies are an increasingly recognized phenomenon in any form of heart failure, corresponding to a large and previously unmet medical need.
COR-2 is a soluble recombinant therapeutic protein which prevents foam cell formation in atherosclerotic plaques with the potential to reverse plaque progression.
